Leahy, who was part of the side which produced their worst performance of the campaign, agreed that the Hatters had the better of the Saddlers in every position and ultimately deserved their win, although he and his fellow Saddlers don't have time to dwell on the result as they now look ahead to Tuesday's clash with Southend United.
Speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - Luke said; "From the warm-up it was flat. It just wasn’t good enough. We weren’t good enough in every area of the game, from the simple stuff to the pressing and the long balls. Everything wasn’t good enough.
"We have taken a big loss here and the best thing we can take out of this is that we have a game on Tuesday to put things right. Luton were better than us all over the pitch.
"They were better at us at the basics. They put more of a shift in, they made that extra run when we didn’t and when we watch it back there will be a few words said. We can’t dwell on this defeat too much because we have a game on Tuesday and we need to put it right.
"Me and Dobbo will take full responsibility for the poor set-pieces. When we were attacking, the boys were making the runs but we were hitting the first man. We worked a lot on corners last week, believe it or not. We know it wasn’t good enough but it’s all about putting it right on Tuesday."
