Isaiah Osbourne: Midfielder Returns to Walsall on a One-Year Deal

Walsall have completed the Deadline Day signing of Isaiah Osbourne, with the former Forest Green Rovers midfielder returning to the club on a one-year deal.
30-year-old, Birmingham-born Osbourne, who is a product of Aston Villa's youth system, returns to the club just over a year after refusing to play under then-manager Jon Whitney, after a falling out between the pair.

Along with Aston Villa and Walsall Isaiah has also chalked up appearances for Nottingham Forest (loan), Middlesbrough (loan), Sheffield Wednesday (loan), Hibernian, Blackpool,  Scunthorpe United, and Forest green Rovers, who he joined after leaving the Saddlers at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

News, published via the club's official website - - confirms; Walsall Football Club are delighted to confirm the return of midfielder Isaiah Osbourne on a one-year deal. The 30-year-old made 32 appearances during his first spell with the Saddlers from September 2015 to May 2017.

Manager Dean Keates spoke to club journalists and welcomed Isaiah back to the club, he said; "Im delighted to get it done. He’s got a wealth of experience and brings some presence to the middle of the park. He knows the level and has played at a higher level. He’ll make it more competitive for places and will be a good addition to the squad."
