Dean Keates Hoping to Add More Players to His Squad

Walsall manager Dean Keates has spoken to the local press following his side's opening-day victory over Plymouth Argyle and offered a brief transfer update.
Keates, who signed striker Morgan Ferrier on a permanent transfer from Boreham Wood, and defenders Jack Fitzwater and Kane Wilson on loan from West Brom ahead of Friday's registration deadline, is hopeful of adding more players to his squad over the next few days.

The gaffer is keen to further strengthen his side and hasn't ruled out dipping into the loan market once again, but is aware that the loan window remains open until the end of the month.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Dean said; "I would like to think that we will add one or two more over the next few days. The loan window will still be open which is to our advantage.

"We’ve brought in Jack and Kane on loan and we had those deals lined up in case we weren’t able to to make permanent signings. We are grateful to West Brom for that and I think they are loans that will be benefit both clubs."
