The EFL have confirmed that, following their midweek victory over Tranmere Rovers, Dean Keates' Saddlers will be ball number 23 in the northern section of the draw for Round Two of the Carabao Cup.
The Saddlers earned a comfortable 3-1 victory over Rovers on Tuesday evening as goals from summer signings Morgan Ferrier, Josh Ginnelly, and Zeli Ismail proved to be more than enough to make Larnell Cole's second-half strike a simple consolation.
The Round Two draw will take place on from 7.00pm on Thursday, 15th August, before the completion of the remaining Round One fixture between Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday.
