Pre-Season: Walsall to Take on Cheltenham Town

Walsall Football Club have confirmed their first pre-season fixture which is to take place ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 League One campaign.

On Saturday, 28th July Dean Keates' Saddlers will make the trip to the LCI Rail Stadium where they will take on League Two's Cheltenham Town in a match which will be the first such visit in ten years.

The match, which will kick-off at 3.00pm, will see Walsall come up against a side they've never lost a competitive match to. The Saddlers have won three and drawn three of the previous six encounters with the Robins and will be keen to continue that form this summer.
