22-year-old Baka, who has scored just eight goals in forty-six first team appearances so far this season, is out of contract over the summer but is expected to remain with the club as they have an option to extend his deal for a further season.
Amadou, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "It’s been an up and down season for me and it has been tough at times. I see it as a learning curve. A lot of things have gone on for me both on and off the field. But it’s another season under my belt and I just have to make sure I learn from it. I have to make sure I don’t make the mistakes I made this year in the next few years. I have to manage myself and make sure I move forward."
The Sierra Leone-born striker then went on to admit that he has to do better if the team is to avoid a repeat of their disappointing season, he continued; "I want to be scoring goals. But when that is not happening you have to work hard. I’ve been trying to take things game by game. Over the past few months, the only thing that has mattered has been getting the results we needed to stay up. I had to get one with of making sure we stayed in this league. Now next year I have got to do what I can to improve for the good of the team."
