UEFA Under-17 Championship: England to Face Italy at Banks's Stadium

The draw for the group stage of this summer's UEFA Under-17 Championship has taken place and have given England a couple of tricky tests as they seek to win another piece of silverware.
Steve Cooper's England Under-17s have been drawn in Group A for this summer's UEFA European Under-17s Championship which will take place at various stadiums across England between Friday, 4th and Sunday 20th May.

Walsall's Banks's Stadium will join the likes of Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium, Chesterfield's Proact Stadium, Rotherham United's New York Stadium, Loughborough University and St George's Park in hosting games across the tournament.

The draw for the group stage of the competition took place at St George's Park on Thursday afternoon and saw the young Lions drawn against Switzerland, Italy and Israel with their clash with the Italians taking place in Walsall at 3.00pm on Monday, 7th May 2018.



Ahead of their meeting with Italy, England will take on Israel at Chesterfield at 7.00pm on Friday, 4th May. The young Lions will then take on Switzerland at Rotherham at 7.00pm on Thursday, 10th May with the winner of the group advancing to the next stage.
