Dan O'Sullivan Among LFE's Goal of the Month Nominees

Young Walsall midfielder Dan O'Sullivan has been listed among the nominees for the League Football Education (LFE) Goal of the Month for February and March.
Dan, who currently plys his trade for Graham Biggs' Walsall Under-18s, is nominated for his stunning strike during the young Saddlers six-nil demolition of Tranmere Rovers, which took place at Ray Hall Lane in early March.

The Shortlist Includes...
Jack Conway, GILLINGHAM v Southend United #LFEGOALA
Dylan Sumner, BLACKPOOL v Arsenal #LFEGOALB
Morgan Whittaker, DERBY COUNTY v Blackburn Rovers #LFEGOALC
Dejon Noel-Williams, OXFORD UNITED v Southend United #LFEGOALD
Dennis Politic, BOLTON WANDERERS v Sheffield Wednesday #LFEGOALE
Jack Sparkes, EXETER CITY v Gillingham #LFEGOALF
Daniel O’Sullivan, WALSALL v Tranmere Rovers #LFEGOALG
Brendan O’Brien, BLACKPOOL v Rochdale #LFEGOALH

Voting will remain open until noon on Thursday, 12 April. You can vote for your favourite goal via the online poll or via Twitter using the hashtag attached to each goal.

With the season drawing to a close, time is running out for players to book their place in the Goal of the Season reckoning alongside previous 2017-18 Goal of the Month winners Matt Mayes (Portsmouth), Caolan Boyd-Munce (Birmingham City), Ellis Chapman (Lincoln City), Jordan Doherty (Sheffield United) and Alex Hunt (Sheffield Wednesday).

The latest instalment includes two entries from Blackpool, with Brendan O’Brien’s thunderous drive from distance competing with Dylan Sumner’s controlled finish in their FA Youth Cup semi-final first leg clash with Arsenal.

Long-range pearlers from Jack Conway (Gillingham) and Daniel O’Sullivan (Walsall) sealed their places on the shortlist, while Bolton Wanderers striker Dennis Politic converted an audacious effort from the halfway line for his second Goal of the Month nomination.

Elsewhere, Dejon Noel-Williams (Oxford United), Jack Sparkes (Exeter City) and Morgan Whittaker (Derby County) all produced precise hits from outside the area to give themselves a chance of winning the prize.
