Club Statement: Pitch Incursions

Walsall Football Club have released a statement ahead of Saturday afternoon's League One six-pointer between the Saddlers and Northampton Town, and have called on supporters to refrain from entering the field of play before, during, or after the must-win clash with the Cobblers.
Dean Keates' Saddlers head into the match in desperate need of some points as they're above the relegation zone on goal difference alone and, with just three games remaining, have very little room for defeats if they are to secure their status in the third tier of the English game for at least another season.

Information, released via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk, confirms; Walsall Football Club would like to request that all supporters refrain from entering the field of play before, during or after tomorrow's crunch match with Northampton.

The safety of players, managers, fans and match officials is of paramount importance and supporters who encroach on the pitch risk facing a banning orders as well as a criminal conviction, while the Club could also face a fine.

Please support us in this way and remain in the stands at all times.

Thank you for your continued support.
