Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the press and admitted that he is keen to add to his squad as soon as possible as his options are somewhat limited following the conclusion of four loan agreements which saw Zeli Ismail, Daniel Agyei, Shaun Donnellan and Tyler Roberts all return to their respective parent clubs.

Jon, who was speaking via the Express & Star, insisted that any new arrival must have the right attitude before arriving as he is keen not to upset the dynamic of the squad.

47-year-old Whitney said; "It’s a big 10 days for us. We all know, you don’t have to be a manager to know, that we need to bring in a couple of players. We need to reinforce and strengthen. If you look at the bench at Charlton, we have got Will and Mitch.

"It’s a young team when you look at the average age and take away skip. So we’ve spoken to quite a few clubs. Quite a few are hanging on to see if they get people in first. But we have got to make sure if a player comes into this group he does it right and had got the right attitude."
