AUDIO | Whitney Disappointed as Walsall Crash Out of the Checkatrade Trophy

Listen as Walsall boss Jon Whitney reacts to the Saddlers' Checkatrade Trophy - Second Round defeat to Bury.
Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to BBC WM following Saturday afternoon's Checkatrade Trophy - Round Two defeat to Bury, and admitted that he was disappointed with the result but encouraged by some the performance as attention turns to next weekend's League One clash with Scunthorpe United.

Two goals from on-loan Charlton Athletic attacker Nicky Ajose were enough to cancel out Erhun Oztumer's second-half equaliser and see the Shakers through to Round Three. The result means the Saddlers are once again out of all three cup competitions, not the 2017/18 many supporters had in mind.
