Team Player | Oztumer Hasn't Set Goalscoring Target

2:22 pm Thursday, 17 August 2017
Erhun Oztumer has spoken to the press and insisted that he isn't thinking about personal targets as he just wants to help the team succeed.
Walsall forward Erhun Oztumer has spoken to the press ahead of Saturday afternoon's League One clash with Portsmouth, and has revealed that despite hitting fifteen goals last season, he has not set a target for the current campaign.

Erhun, who was speaking via the Express & Star, insisted that it is more important to help the team as a whole rather than set personal targets, he said; "Last year I didn't really have a target and this year I don't really have a target. As a team we want to finish and I felt last year we let it slip towards the end.

"This year the gaffer has brought in his own players and it looks like we are very strong at the back. He has kept his faith in us strikers and I'm just trying to do well and help the team win as many games as possible."
