Baka Keen to Be More of a Physical Presence

10:44 am Thursday, 31 August 2017
Walsall striker Amadou Bakayoko wants to be more of a physical presence, and has been working hard to improve his game.
6ft 4in Saddlers striker Amadou Bakayoko, who has scored two goals so far this season, has spoken to the local press and discussed his desire to improve the physical side of his game.

Baka, who was speaking to Express & Star reporter Joseph Masi, said; "I want to be a more physical presence up there. A lot of teams in this league have a big presence up front. I don’t want to be just a target man but I want that to be a string to my bow. I think I’ve got it in me to do that.

"To hold up the ball and to bring others into play. I want to be a player that can switch things up, that can take up different positions, score goals and create goals. But the most important thing is to work hard for the team and I’m trying to do as much as I can up there."
