Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that they have agreed a kit deal with Italian sports company Errea, who also supplied the club between 1997 and 1999.

The deal, which brings the clubs deal with JD Sports to a premature end, will see Errea produce home and away kits, as well as training wear, for the next three seasons - with the clubs brand new home and away shirts said to be launching imminently.

The new deal sees the Saddlers end their troubled partnership with JD Sports on year early as they seek to put an end the the supply issues that have dogged the club over recent years.

Errea were previously The Saddlers’ kit manufacturers between 1997 and 1999 and currently provide kit to clubs up and down the country including Norwich City and MK Dons, as well as Serie A side Parma and the Icelandic national team.

Fabrizio Taddei from Errea spoke to Saddlers.co.uk and said: “We are delighted to be the new Technical Sponsor of Walsall FC. To be partnered with such a historic club is always a pleasure and we look forward to being part of the 130th anniversary celebrations, next year.

"We hope that the kits we produce together will be well received by all the fans and that the next three seasons will be successful both on and off the pitch."
