Andreas Makris Completes Move to APOEL

Makris, who joined the Saddlers from Anorthosis Famagusta last summer, scored just one goal over his thirty-five game spell at Banks's Stadium.
Cypriot champions APOEL Nicosia have this afternoon confirmed the signing of Walsall forward, and club-record signing, Andreas Makris, who has agreed a three-year deal and is said to have cost around €200,000.

Walsall Football Club have released a statement confirming the transfer, and APOEL have already taken to their official Twitter account to confirm the deal.
21-year-old, Paphos born Makris, who scored one goal in thirty-five first-team appearances for the during his debut campaign with the Saddlers, is believed to have found it difficult to settle after his club-record move from Anorthosis Famagusta last summer and will no doubt welcome the opportunity to return home.

APOEL FOOTBALL (PUBLIC) LTD announces the agreement between APOEL and Walsall F.C. For the transfer of Andreas Makris and the conclusion of an agreement between our team and the footballer.
