Walsall winger Franck Moussa has spoken to club journalists following his quick-fire double against Southend United, which saw the Brussels-born 27-year-old bag two-goals within ten minutes of replacing an injured Erhun Oztumer, and has discussed his desire to secure more first-team football.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Franck said; "I’ve been waiting for a chance to prove what I can do and I was happy to be able to come on and show just a bit of that. When you do come on early in the game you have to have an impact as early as you can and I was happy to be able to contribute as soon as I came on.

"I’m an attacking midfielder so when the ball comes in the box I’m going to be in and around waiting for an opportunity, and when they come, try to make sure I hit the target. The two goals came from that type of situation – I was in the right place at the right time and dispatched it as well as I could.

"I want to be in and around the team and be able to have an impact and do my best when called upon. Hopefully this will give me another opportunity to show that I can contribute still."
