Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League One clash between Walsall and Chesterfield, which was due to take place at Banks's Stadium, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Following heavy rainfall over the last few hours, and with little sign of the weather improving, Shrewsbury-based referee Robert Lewis has taken the decision to call off this evening's match with little more than an hour to go until kick-off.

A new date will be confirmed in due course.
