Walsall's most recent outing took place last week and saw the Saddlers defeat Wrexham by two-goals-to-nil as Tobias Hayles-Docherty and Callum Cockerill-Mollett scored to secure victory for their side.

Ahead of today's match the Saddlers had won three of their four Central League games, whilst the Dragons had won just one of their five games, losing three and drawing the remaining fixture.

Walsall enjoyed a swift start to the match as goals from Tobias Hayles-Docherty and Cameron Peters (PEN) gave the match two-nil lead with just ten minutes on the clock.

Young midfielder Liam Kinsella added another goal during the first half as the Saddlers went into the break with a three goal lead.

The Saddlers' lead was cut just two minutes into the second half as Wrexham forward Jordan White found space and headed home past Chandler Hallwood in the Walsall goal.

There were no further goals during the match, another solid result for their Saddlers as the Central League campaign continues.
