Walsall winger Kieron Morris has spoken to the local press following last weekend's League One victory over Shrewsbury Town, and has backed his side, who have now won three games in a row, to kick on as long as they can learn from their mistakes.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Kieron said; "Shrewsbury was one of those games where I think we dominated but both teams were a threat. They were a threat with the long ball, they played very direct at times and we struggled to deal with that.

"On the balance of play, and with the chances we created, I felt we deserved all three points. But we weren’t able to pop the ball around like we can because they didn’t press us, they just sat back and were happy to go long.

"They kept getting the ball into the final third and we needed to stop that from happening. But it’s a learning curve and going forward we looked really dangerous. It’s now three wins on the spin and that gives us great confidence.

"If we can take the positives from the last three games and work on what we need to work on, we will have a great chance in every game."
