With the Summer Transfer Window closing in a little over twenty-four hour's time, Sky Bet Championship side Brentford have been linked with a move for Walsall's England Under 19 international left-back Rico Henry, who is currently sidelined through injury.

As the former Cadbury Athletic defender continues to recover from a shoulder injury which he picked up during the Saddlers' league draw with Oldham Athletic, West London Sport report that Dean Smith's side are hopeful of agreeing a deal ahead of Transfer Deadline Day.

Brentford want Walsall’s highly-rated teenage left-back Rico Henry. The 19-year-old has been watched by a number of Championship clubs and could be set for a pre-deadline move.

Brentford, who recently signed left-back Callum Elder on loan from Leicester, could look to send Tom Field out on loan if a deal can be agreed for Henry.
