Neil Woods' Walsall Under 18s side will return to action this weekend as they make the short trip west to take on Shrewsbury Town in the first group game of this season's EFL Youth Alliance Cup.
Neil Woods' Walsall Under 18s side will return to action this weekend as they make the short trip west to take on Shrewsbury Town in the first group game of this season's EFL Youth Alliance Cup.

The Saddlers and Shrews are joined in Northern Group 2 by Burton Albion and Mansfield Town, with today's match being the first of two away games that Neil Woods’ side will play in the group with the only home game coming against Burton Albion in September.

Today's match is due to be played at Shrewsbury Sports Village, with kick-off scheduled for 11:00am.
