Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that 19-year-old left back Rico Henry, who has been at the centre of much transfer speculation, has today completed a transfer to Sky Bet Championship side Brentford, for an undisclosed fee.

Edgbaston-born Rico, who has made over fifty first-team appearances since he graduated from the Saddlers' youth system in 2014, had been the subject of plenty of transfer speculation, with several high-profile clubs, such as Leeds United, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United all believed to be keeping tabs on his progress.

However it's Dean Smith's Brentford that have completed a deal with the sought after star agreeing a five-year deal and costing an initial £1,500,000, with a number of add-on clauses which could see the fee rise to over £5m.
