Sky Bet Championship | Walsall's Potential Opponents

With Newcastle United and Norwich City joining Aston Villa in the Barclays Premier League relegation zone, we take a quick look at which team's Jon Whitney's Walsall could be facing if they successfully negotiate the Sky Bet League 1 Play-Offs.

Brighton & Hove Albion, Hull City, Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday are set to compete for a place in the Premier League, but twenty other sides are already confirmed to be taking part in the Championship next season.

Local sides Aston Villa and Birmingham City will be joined by Blackburn Rovers, Dean Smith's Brentford, Richard O'Donnell's Bristol City, recently promoted Burton Albion, Cardiff City, Fulham, Huddersfield Town, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Norwich City, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers, Reading, Rotherham United, League 1 Champions Wigan Athletic and local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Walsall will take on Barnsley in their two-legged Sky Bet League 1 Play-Off Semi Final, while Bradford City and Millwall will meet in the other Semi Final, with the Final taking place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 29th May.
