Walsall Head Coach Sean O'Driscoll has spoken to club journalists ahead of tonight's Sky Bet League 1 match with Scunthorpe United, and has insisted that his team must concentrate on their own performances and not worry about the opposition.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Sean said; “We want to win every game we play. We’ve got to be in control of our own performances and so far they’ve been really good and really positive.

“You don’t want to worry too much about the opposition. You’ve got to understand what is coming at you and what their strengths are. But for us, the sooner we can get fluid, the better we are as a team. Sometimes, you have to find different ways to do that.

“Sometimes it means playing from the back, other times it means getting the ball forward quickly into the spaces behind or trying to play between the lines. It’s about trying to understand in each specific game what you have to do.

“Our levels of performance have been first class this season and that’s as much as you can control in football, so that’s what the focus is on.”
