Earlier today, Walsall Football Club confirmed that defender James O'Connor has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract extension.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm; Walsall FC are delighted to announce that centre-back James O’Connor has signed a two-year extension to his existing deal.
The 31-year-old has committed his long-term future to the club and will now remain at the Banks’s Stadium until the summer of 2018.
The experienced defender has made 74 appearances for the Saddlers since signing from Derby County in July 2014.
The ex-Doncaster man has impressed in the heart of defence this season, helping us keep 13 clean sheets in his 39 outings.
