Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw has spoken to club journalists following the news that he has been named as part of Chris Coleman's squad for Wales' upcoming international friendlies against Northern Ireland and Ukraine, and has discussed his surprise as he has another chance to win his first cap.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Tom said; “I was over the moon when I found out. I wasn’t expecting it this time as they’ve got a mainly fully fit squad. Last time when I was called up there were a few injuries.
“I was still buzzing but to be called up now with the euros just around the corner, and to have another opportunity to impress Chris Coleman, is something I’m delighted about.
“Our match against Northern Ireland will probably be a fiery game, even though it’s a friendly, as all home nations games are always fiery. Just to be involved in that and the whole atmosphere going into the Euros is something I can’t wait for. I can’t wait to get there!”
