Following last week's Football League Youth Alliance (North West) victory over Carlisle United, which saw a late Joe Robson own goal secure all three points for Neil Woods' side, the young Saddlers travel North to take on Accrington Stanley later today.

Heading into today's match, Walsall, who should feature newly turned pro midfielders Jordon Sangha and Maz Kouhyar among their ranks, sit third in the Alliance table with thirty-three points, having won ten of their eighteen fixtures.

Current league leaders Wigan Athletic have a couple of games in hand over the Saddlers and were due to take on Stanley during the week but saw the match postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Accrington currently sit in tenth place, out of fifteen, and have won six of their fifteen alliance fixtures, losing seven and drawing two. Their most recent outing took place on Saturday, 30th January and saw them emerge victorious over Rochdale, the visitors winning by three-goals-to-two.

Today's match, which is set to kick off at 1:00pm, will now take place at the ACCROSS College, Broad Oak Road, BB5 2AW.
