Earlier today, Walsall Football Club revealed that promising Centre of Excellence product Jordon Sangha had penned his first professional contract with the club. Following the release of the news, Jordon briefly spoke to club journalists and discussed his desire to break into the first-team.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Jordon said; “I’m buzzing to have signed my contract. I’ve played at Walsall for ten years and I’ve finally got a pro deal.
“I was lost for words when I found out. I phoned my mum straight away and she was nearly crying on the phone. I told my dad when I got home and he was nearly crying as well.
“My aim is to get in and around the first-team, whether it’s on the bench or playing with them, and hopefully in a few more years I’ll get in the team.”
