Promising Duo Pen First Professional Contracts

Walsall Football Club have announced that promising prospects Jordon Sangha and Qamaruddin Maziar Kouhyar have today put pen-to-paper on their first professional contracts.
Walsall Football Club have announced that promising prospects Jordon Sangha and Qamaruddin Maziar Kouhyar have today put pen-to-paper on their first professional contracts.

Both players have put pen-to-paper on one-year deals, with a further year’s option, having impressed during the club’s two-year scholarship programme.

West Bromwich born Sangha, 18, has been on Walsall’s books since the age of eight, and has come through the club’s youth ranks, playing at every youth age level, from the Under 9s through to the Under 16s, and then on to the scholarship programme.

Afghanistan-born Kouhyar, also 18, who is affectionately known as ‘Maz’, joined the Saddlers in April 2013, aged 15, following his release from Coventry City, and has gone on to establish himself in Neil Woods'Under 18s side.
