On Saturday afternoon, Neil Woods' Walsall Under 18s side travelled North to take on Fleetwood Town in the latest Football League Youth Alliance (North West) fixture of the season.

Walsall's young guns grabbed a draw late on as they twice came from behind to secure a point in their latest Youth Alliance match.

Fleetwood Town's Lewis Baines prodded the Cod Army into the lead after sixteen minutes, an advantage they held until after the break, when Cameron Peters equalised for the Saddlers ten minutes into the second half.

The hosts went back into the lead around ten minutes later, when Jordan Hancox found the back of the net, however Walsall midfielder Rory Oliver notched his side's second equaliser late on in the game.

Neil Woods' side went close to grabbing all three points as Cameron Peters cut inside before drilling the ball into the side-netting of the home goal. The hosts would also go close late on, but the match ended all-square with a point-a-piece.
