Young Walsall defender Matt Preston, who made his full debut during Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 defeat to Chesterfield, has briefly spoken to the press, and discussed his performance, along with a quick look ahead to Tuesday's clash with Barnsley.
Speaking to several members of the press, Matt said; "It was great to a get a first start and nice to get a goal, but we’re disappointed with the result. I thought on the whole I did quite well. But I’m never content with what I’ve done and there are areas where I can improve.
"We know we need to kick on again on Tuesday and try to get a result. Hopefully the frustration from today can spur us on to get a result."
