Ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Coventry City, Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's Media Officer Dale Moon and offered a brief update of the status of left-back Andy Taylor, who was substituted during the Saddlers' midweek victory over Rochdale.
Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; “He received a whack below his shin - it was a good, fair tackle but he should be okay. He’s doing a recovery today and he’ll train tomorrow.
“Everyone else is fighting fit. It’s one of those times where everyone wants to be in the squad and in the team. I’m having to make tough decisions on who to put in the squad, let alone the team.”
