Blackpool manager Neil McDonald has spoken to his club's official website ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Walsall, and has insisted that his side is capable of winning, but is expecting a tough test.
Speaking to BlackpoolFC.co.uk, McDonald said; "I'm confident that the players will get the result that they require and the confidence will push the performances on. Performances on the whole have been quite good, we just need to make them a bit better over the 90 minutes.
"I went to their game the other night against Brighton and they played very well, they're a hard working team so it's going to be a difficult game for us.
"We've got to exploit their weaknesses, which they have, and defend a little bit better to try and get that clean sheet. We'll certainly have a go, like we did against Burton in the first-half when we overran them and created chances, but we have to stick the ball in the back of the net. If we can put the two together then we'll certainly have a great chance."
