Walsall manager Dean Smith is understood to have played down any move for former Saddlers loanee Milan Lalkovič, who is set to depart current club Barnsley after falling out of favour with the Oakwell side.
The 22-year-old made almost forty first-team appearances in a loan spell during the 2013/14 League campaign and went on to become a fan a favourite.
Following an unsuccessful spell with Czech side FK Mladá Boleslav, Milan joined Barnsley in January 2015.
