Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Oldham Athletic, and has insisted that his side were worthy winners.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; "It was really pleasing to end our home games with a victory. That makes it three home wins in a row and extends our unbeaten run.
"I thought that we started really well and put in a very good first half performance. We were average after the break but were worthy winners in the end.
"Our performance levels have been high in recent weeks; the players have deserved to keep their place and that's why I haven't made many changes today.
"There have been plenty of positives this afternoon and seeing Tom Bradshaw reach 20 goals was certainly one of them. It's a fantastic achievement for the lad."
