Earlier today, Walsall Football Club played host to Fleetwood Town in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season.
Following the game, which ended 1-0 to the Saddlers, Cod Army boss Graham Alexander spoke to his club's official website, and discussed his disappointment as his side continue to slip away from the play-off places.
Speaking to FleetwoodTownFC.com, Graham said; “I was disappointed with the second half performance as I thought we controlled it well as the away team in the first.
“We had a couple of good opportunities in the first half, but then in the second half we didn’t play well enough to win the game.
“We should have seen the game out and been happy with a point, and I guess that’s been our achilles heel this season.
“We gave the ball away for the goal and was something we did quite often in the second half.
“Bradshaw’s found half a yard and it was a good finish from a striker who has scored lots of goals.
“We wanted to come here and continue our run really. We haven’t managed to do that which is disappointing.
“As a group we didn’t play to the levels we knew we could in the second half.”
