Earlier today, Walsall Football Club played host to Fleetwood Town in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season.
Following the game, which ended 1-0 to the Saddlers, Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the assembled media, and praised Fleetwood for their solid defensive display.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; "I was really pleased to see the ball finally hit the back of the net. We didn't create as many clear-cut chances today as we have done previously, but credit for that must go to Fleetwood who got men behind the ball and did well defensively.
"It was a bobbly pitch out there, but we worked extremely hard and deserved the victory in the end.
"We dominated against a good team and it was nice to see Tom Bradshaw back in action and popping up with the winner at the right time.
"It's also another clean sheet and I felt that we looked solid at the back again today, so there are plenty of positives to take into Tuesday's game here against Crawley Town."
