On Bank Holiday Monday afternoon Walsall Football Club travelled to London Road to take on Peterborough United in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season. Following the game, which ultimately ended all-square with neither side able to grab a goal, Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the local press.
Speaking to Matt Maher of the Express & Star, Smith said; "It is very frustrating. I thought we were in total control other than a ten minute spell in the second half.
"We played some really good stuff on a slow, bobbly pitch but the final end product is missing at the moment.
"It is what it is, you just have to keep moving forward and we will take a lot of belief from the way we are playing."
