Walsall Football Club have named young West Bromwich Albion striker Alex Jones amongst their starting XI for the reserves clash with Morecambe, which takes place later today at Chasetown's Scholars Ground.
Along with a host of other Academy graduates, 19-year-old Jones penned a one-year pro deal with West Brom last summer, with an option for a further year.
Walsall manager Dean Smith is said to be keen to bolster his striking options with Jones being one of the many names on the scouting list.
Also in the starting line-up, which can be found HERE, is Saddlers midfielder Sam Mantom, who has missed the majority of the season through a knee injury, and will be keen to make his mark as Dean Smith begins to select his team for the Saddlers' trip to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final, on 22nd March.
