Walsall Football Club Captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the press following Sunday afternoon's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final defeat to Bristol City, and has insisted that the side must dust themselves down, and move on.

Speaking to SkySports.com, Adam said; "We'll dust ourselves down and get back to action and make sure there's no hangover from this.

"We don't feel we did ourselves justice. There are a lot of young lads who have careers ahead of them and hopefully they will use it as motivation to get back into these sorts of areas and play in front of 70,000 fans.

"We waited a long time for it and the fact the performance was below our normal standards is disappointing.

"We'll do debriefs on the game but it just wasn't to be. It's different to what the players are used to, it's one of those things.

"I hope we'll come out of it stronger and use it as motivation for the rest of the season and next as well"
