On Tuesday evening Walsall Football Club played host to Rochdale in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season, the Saddlers won the match by three-goals-to-two, however it wasn't all good news as two players were substituted, with what was later revealed to be groin injuries.

Goalscorer Anthony Forde, who was substituted at half time, and winger Jordan Cook, who was replaced by Rico Henry after 71 minutes, are both reported to have suffered from 'groin injuries' during the game, and are likely to be assessed ahead of the league clash with Port Vale this weekend.

Saddlers manager Dean Smith will be hoping for good news, with top-scorer Tom Bradshaw (Hamstring), James Chambers (Cramp), and midfielder Sam Mantom (Knee) already on the injured list, rotation options are becoming even more sparse during this busy period of games.
