Walsall Football Club Captain Adam Chambers has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Colchester United, and has admitted to being very impressed with Leicester City loanee Michael Cain.

20-year-old, Luton-born-Cain has been on loan at the Banks's Stadium since October and is currently believed to be in discussions for another extension having put in several impressive performances.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Adam said; “It’s not my decision but he is a very talented player, which everyone can see from the games he has played.

“He is a good lad too and fitted straight into what we are doing. He would be a great addition to the team, to the squad, as long as he could stay here. It would be great to see him stay here for longer.

“It improves the quality of the squad as a whole and competition for places too. It would be great to see but obviously it is not my decision.”
