Walsall Football Club have today released important information for supporters planning to travel via rail to Sunday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Gillingham.

In a statement released via Saddlers.co.uk, the club confirm; "Network Rail will be carrying out engineering works on the railway line between Tame Bridge Parkway and Rugeley Trent Valley on Sunday, 1st February. As a result, London Midland will not be able to run train services on this stretch of the route.

"Fans travelling to the Walsall v Gillingham fixture, which kicks off at 6.00pm, are advised that buses will replace train services between Tame Bridge Parkway and Rugeley Trent Valley. There will be no train services calling at Bescot Stadium Station or Walsall."
