Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of this afternoon's Sky Bet League One clash with Coventry City, and has discussed the teams lack of goals, insisting he'd be more worried if they weren't creating chances.
Speaking to the
Express & Star, Smith said; "We know we have not scored enough goals but we have created an awful lot of chances and not taken them.
“We do an awful lot of work with analysis and statistics and if you are not creating chances then you have a big problem.
“If you are creating them and not taking them it is something you can work on.
"We have certainly been working on it and if in the long run that does not work out you go and get people who do.”
