Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of this afternoon's Sky Bet League One clash with Coventry City, and has briefly discussed top-scorer Tom Bradshaw's hamstring injury.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “It was an awkward one because it is one Jon Whitney has never treated before.
“It was in the belly of the hamstring rather than one of the sprinting muscles, where you normally see a hamstring.
“As well as treating it you have got to strengthen as well.”
