Former Walsall Football Club player-coach Dean Holden, who completed a switch to Oldham Athletic as first-team coach earlier today, has taken to Twitter to thank Walsall supporters for their support during his time at the club.

Dean said; "Thanks for your kind messages. I've loved every minute at Walsall, working with some great people. The support I've received has been amazing.

"I'm really excited about the opportunity to be 1st team coach at Oldham Athletic, looking forward to a great challenge."
