Walsall Football Club defender Ben Purkiss has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One clash with Oldham Athletic, and has discussed his recent return from injury, and his hopes that he can take his chance when it comes.Speaking to the Express & Star, Ben said; “I don't think I have ever had anything like it before. I have never experienced something like this where you almost feel, one week after the next, something comes up, something happens.
“It’s been unbelievable but you kind of have to deal with everything the game throws at you be it injury, be it sending off or other people who can play in your position.
“You have to take things on the chin and try to get better every time. I have maybe been a little bit unfortunate but it is swings and roundabouts and hopefully things will start to turn.”
