Walsall Football Club have today announced the creation of up to sixty job opportunities within the clubs Conferencing and Events team.In a statement released via Facebook, Marketing and Business Development officer Karen Donoghue said: "Banks’s Stadium Conference & Events team is looking to strengthen our staff with up to 60 new positions available. These include experienced Silver Service personnel as well as staff for the bars, kitchen and refreshment kiosks.
"The stadium plays host to a wide range of functions, from our activities on a match day to Weddings, Sporting Dinners, Boxing Dinners, Cabaret Shows and private functions.
"As one of the leading Conference & Events venues in the West Midlands, there is always something going on at Banks’s Stadium.
"We are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic people to work within our Conference & Events team. The ideal candidates will be smart in appearance and able to talk easily with a wide range of different people, from party goers to industry bosses.
"Experience in Silver Service is preferred, but you will receive in-house training from the start from our experienced staff.
"The positions also offer flexible, casual, evening and weekend work, so if you are over the age of 17 and looking to work in the Hospitality industry, you will get no better grounding than here at Walsall FC.
