Bees sporting director Frank McParland told
getwestlondon.co.uk: "We have received no contact from anyone regarding Will Grigg. He's a big part of our plans for next season. We need good players who can score goals. The club invested a lot in Will and he's still under contract for another two years."
If there is a completed deal, Walsall could be in line to receive between £50,000 and £70,000 in compensation thanks to a 20% sell-on clause which was part of the original transfer agreement.
