Walsall Football Club suffered defeat just nine times during 2013, putting them joint top of the entire Football League form table.

The Saddlers are joined at the top by Championship outfit Brighton & Hove Albion and fellow League One side Leyton Orient.

Walsall played forty-four games, Brighton played forty-five and Orient forty-six, all lost just nine games.

2013 was one of the most successful calendar years for the Saddlers, they are also amongst the top twenty 'Best Performing Teams of The Year' as revealed last week.
